Storyboard Artist

Storyboard artists create both story and shot boards for in and out of game cinematics. They will be working closely with the 3D cinematics artist as well as the designer and art director to design and create the flow of the cinematics.

If you are currently working as a storyboard artist, or have experience with comic illustration, we’d love to meet with you.

The Ideal Candidate should posses the following qualities:

• Ability to sketch and compose quickly.
• Experience with Photoshop.
• Ability to do shot layout, visual storytelling & composition.
• Possess clear communicative sketching skills with the ability to clearly show character emotions.
• Possess understanding of storytelling and character development.
• Able to demonstrate practical art skills.
• Possess a good understanding of cinematography, dramatic structure and lighting. Able to show camera choreography and movement.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

To apply you must meet these minimum requirement(s). We will provide the required training for you to become the Ideal Candidate.

• Strong understanding of illustrated panel storytelling.
• Ability to illustrate characters in a given style.
• Ability to recreate existing characters in different poses and actions.
• Ability to understand and take instructions for narratives.
• Ability to sketch accurately and quickly.
