Environment Modeler
Environment Modelers are the crafters of worlds. They are the Gods of the virtual realm. Like creating a stage for actors to act out the play, they are responsible for creating believable worlds for both the in-game characters, and the player.
If you love creating worlds, this is great place to start. Training will be provided for beginner gods.
The Ideal Candidate should posses the following qualities:
- Experience as a modeler using 3D Studio Max.
- Possess thorough understanding of texturing and UVing characters.
- Extensive experience with mesh/UV skills with specific focus on environmental assets (architecture/flora/terra).
- Plus: Extensive knowledge of various environments.
- Plus: Experience with modular design principles.
To apply you must meet these minimum requirement(s). We will provide the required training for you to become the Ideal Candidate.
- Modeling using Primitives.
- Understanding most of the deformable modifiers ie; bend, twist, FFD etc.
- Understanding of UV mapping.
- Interest in environments.
- Understanding of form and perspective.
